BECCA Founder, Rebecca Morrice Williams shared her tips for timeless bridal beauty with Hello! Magazine. With some much advice, too good to miss, we've included it here for your reading pleasure.

Prime time "A good primer is key to long-wearing make-up on your special day. It creates the perfect canvas for make-up to adhere to so it lasts all day. Always select a primer appropriate for your skin type and concerns. You can choose one for radiance, to mattify oily skin prone to shine, to minimise pores and lines, and to smooth skin."

Try BECCA Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector for oily skin or BECCA Resurfacing Primer if smoothing is your primary skin concern.

Foundation course "For a flawless, even-toned complexion, select your perfect foundation by considering the best balance between looking beautifully natural in real light and the fact that you also need to appear polished and perfect in photographs. A medium coverage – slightly radiant but not overly shiny – is ideal."

Try BECCA Radiant Skin Satin Finish Foundation.

Tan tactics "White dresses and veils can be draining, so you should choose to be a little more tanned than usual for the day – and always remember to match your foundation to this shade or use a product underneath to tint the skin."

Hide and seek "Choose a concealer formula with a lighter consistency for below the eyes – this is less likely to crease and settle into fine lines. For any dark spots or blemishes, opt for one with a heavier consistency."

Try BECCA Dual Coverage Compact Concealer for two consistencies in one compact.

Power powder "Set foundation with a super-fine powder to ensure it lasts even longer. Use a lightweight finishing powder that won’t settle into fine lines or appear dry, and use this for any touch-ups during the day, too."

Get luminous "To achieve a radiant glow that will look superb in your wedding photos, opt for a luminiser. These enhance the complexion with light-diffusing particles that reduce imperfections. You can mix them with your foundation or apply it over the top, on the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, cupid’s bow and inner corners of the eye to better define your features in photos. Don’t go overboard, though. You can also apply a luminiser to your décolletage, or mix with body moisturiser for an all-over glow that looks sensational when wearing a low-cut or strapless wedding dress."

Try cult-favorite BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector.

Keep it classic "Timeless bridal make-up equals neutral shades like warm browns, soft golds and peaches for the eyes, and natural pinks or peaches for the cheeks and lips. If you opt for a smoky or bold eye, keep the rest of your make-up simple. Similarly, if you choose a red or bold lip, the rest of your make-up should be understated – you don’t want to look out of date in pictures in years to come."

Looks that last "Layering helps to add longevity. For the eyes, a cream shadow underneath powder eyeshadow can prevent creasing. For the cheeks, layer a powder blush over a cheek crème for the perfect rosy flush. And for the mouth, fill your entire lip with a lip pencil before applying lip colour to avoid fading and feathering."

Touch-up "Finally, carry some products in your make-up bag for touch-ups as necessary during the day – specifically powder, lip products, blotting papers and some blush if you need an extra pop of colour to take you into the night."
