Inspired by many of the 2014 Spring Couture shows in Paris, BECCA Art Director Zoë Sabbath shares her favorite collections of the season.
Femininity reigned supreme with delicate guipure lace accents and floral appliqué at Zuhair Murad. Fauna complimenting the flora with black sequined zebra print and feathered necklines.
Operatic elegance met with a menagerie of furry (and feathered) friends at Valentino. Echoes of Pre-Raphaelite, Rossetti heroines and Henri Rousseau’s Equatorial Jungle could be seen in the whimsical detail seen on waistlines, tutus and coats all set to a backdrop inspired by the Rome Opera house.
