| Clare Press show - Make-up direction - Sam Correy for BECCA |
| | The Look: Sam Correy and the team from BECCA created romantic faces. "Amongst the beautiful colours Clare used in the collection was a soft lavender. Universally flattering, it was the perfect starting point,” says Sam. “I encircled the girls' eyes with a shadow in a similar shade, creating a 'halo' of colour before applying mascara in black for definition. Skin was perfectly concealed though I kept it fresh and dewy by using a hydrating primer prior to the foundation followed by a light spritz of Evian's Facial Spray. “I then pressed BECCA's Lip & Cheek Creme in Tuberose onto the apples of the cheeks for a 'flushed' effect. I wanted the lip to be dark but still of the season so rather than defining it with the rich blueberry shade (Lotus) I'd chosen - I concentrated the colour on the centre of the mouth before feathering the edges, finishing with BECCA's lip gloss in Cherrybomb. "My aim was to use pretty pastels and floral shades to create a soft Spring/Summer look that not only complemented Clare's collection but proved a refreshing change to the usual bronzed skin and beach glamour.” | | |
| Camilla & Marc show - Make-up direction - Noni Smith for BECCA |
The look for Camilla and Marc was a soft pretty bare eye contrasted with the dark matte lip. The inspiration was the kind of girl Camilla and Marc design for; feminine, sexy, strong and modern with a bit of a rock and roll edge. Pretty with a touch of tough. To recreate the look for Camilla and Marc. Luminous Skin Colour was mixed with Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal and applied all over face. Concealer was used on top of this to perfect the skin. A light dusting of Fine Loose Finishing Powder to set. Lip & Cheek Creme in Blossom was used on the cheeks with a dusting of Soft Touch Blush in Sylph over the top. Eyes were shaded in Lurex Eye Colour Powder in a light wash all over the lid and lightly underneath, just enough to create some contouring. Loads of The Ultimate Mascara in Black was used on top and bottom lashes. The inner rim of the eye was cleaned up using the Nude Liner lip pencil in Nougat (the light end). The lip was Lotus Creme Blush. | | | |
 | BECCA Make-up Artist Kate Corba shares how she achieved the look that accompanied the Clare Press collection Skin: Silky Primer, Luminous Skin Colour with Opal Shimmering Skin Perfector mixed through, followed by Compact Concealer and then Fine Loose Finishing Powder buffed into the T zone (Skin needed to look perfect and dewy). Eyes: Erzulie Jewel Dust - It was quite solid on the lid and was buffed back all the way to the brow bone and swept under the eye and finished with The Ultimate Mascara in Black. Cheeks: Tuberose Lip & Cheek Creme applied to the apples of the cheeks (only a small amount of product was used so as not to overpower the look) Lips: Lotus Creme Blush in the centre of the lip, blended out to nothing (Clare’s description was for it to look like you have been sucking on a lollypop!) followed by Cherrybomb Glossy Lip Tint over the top. Brows: Filled if need with a brow powder | | |
